Ammonia serum levels (AMMON)
Ammonia is derived from bacterial enzymatic action on ingested amino acids. It is absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and delivered through the portal vein to the liver, which converts most of it into urea.

Serum-based tests : 2 ml SERUM. Centrifuge immediately after clotting. Keep at ambient temperature or 4°C for 24h. For longer periods, aliquot, freeze and ship frozen.

Oxidative Stress testing
Oxidative stress is implicated in a large number of diseases including neurodegenerative diseases and autoimmune diseases. Oxidative stress results from the damaging action of reactive oxygen species. These molecules react with proteins, lipids or DNA, altering their structure and causing oxidative damage to the cells.

Zonulin in stool samples (ZONU)
Zonulin is the "doorway" to leaky gut. Zonulin opens up the spaces between the cells of the intestinal lining.

Sampling Instructions: Stool / stoelgang / selles Stable for 24 hours at ambient temperature, for longer periods store at –20°C and ship frozen
EPX/EDN ELISA tests in stool samples (EPX/EDN)
The accumulation of EDN in the intestine is associated with inflammation and tissue damage. Measuring of EDN in stool can serve as an objective parameter for a current clinical or sub-clinical chronic inflammation located in the gastrointestinal area.

The intestinal microflora can be considered as a postnatally acquired organ. Composed of a large diversity of bacterial cells, it has different functions for the host. The microflora has a significant role in gut maturation, gut integrity, prevention of pathogenic and opportunistic bacterial colonization,… It modulates the immune system as well. The mocroflora is also involved in vitamin synthesis, production of short chain fatty acids, metabolism of carcinogenic substances.

PCR Human Herpesvirus 6 (HHV6)
HHV-6 has a very high prevalence (close to 100% of the world’s population has been exposed). It is transmitted mainly by saliva. Transmission occurs usually within the first two years of life; primary infection is often associated with a febrile condition and sometimes with the onset of roseola (exanthem subitum).

Sample required: Blood: 2 ml whole blood in EDTA tube. Stable for 48 hours. For longer periods freeze at –20°C or –80°C

PCR Human Herpesvirus 7 (HHV7)
HHV-7 is closely related to HHV-6. Primary infection with HHV-7 usually occurs later in childhood than HHV-6 infection; it can also cause exanthem subitum.

Phelix Phage Borrelia & Rickettsia Tests
PHELIX PHAGE TEST: A Breakthrough way to detect intracellular bacteria, and an answer to non-diagnostic ill people.
Phages belong to the simplest and most primitive form of life (viruses). They are extraordinarily specific for the bacterial host that they infect to propagate. They can rapidly infect their host and insert its genetic material into their host. As a result, they produce large numbers of copies that can further infect (and in some specific cases decimate) the bacteria causing the infection. Most importantly, bacteriophages can have a killing capacity.
