SAMPLES CHECK-LIST:

  • 2 SERUM TUBES (YELLOW CAP) with blood sample
  • 1 MSA SPECIAL VIAL with stool sample (see instruction on the other side)
  • 1 DRY CLEAN CONTAINER with stool sample
Description

CFS shares overlapping symptomology with several diseases.

Intestinal dysfunctions such as dysbiosis and leaky gut likely contributes to CFS. Intestinal permeability, and the subsequent leakage of LPS into the blood, may also contribute to the chronic immune activation observed in CFS patients.

Several viruses have been associated with CFS but they are not specific for CFS; none of these viruses (i.e. Herpes virus 6 & 7, Parvovirus, Enterovirus, EBV, etc) are found in all CFS patients. Absence of detection could in some cases be explained by viral localization.

Data sheet
Do I need to prepay the test before receiving the kit?

No, we will send you an invoice once we receive your sample. All payment instructions are listed on the invoice. You can pay by wire transfer or credit card (VISA or Mastercard only). Please kindly note that checks are no longer accepted. The analysis report will be released only if the tests are paid.

What is the turnaround time for the tests?

Testing turnaround time is assay-dependent. Some results are available in 48h (like CD57 count, Phagotest, etc.), while some others need more time (like PCRs with sequencing confirmation). The results of analyses are delivered maximum 6 weeks after sample reception.
