Description

Immunoblot tests (results provided with diagram) are available for assessing the presence of antibodies against following bacterias in human serum samples:

  • SeroBORREL - Borrelia IgG & IgM immunoblot. An immunoassay (immunoblot) for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies against Borrelia burgdorferi in human serum, plasma or CSF. It detects antibodies against four immunopathogenic genospecies (B. burgdorferi sensu stricto, B. garinii, B. afzelii, B. spielmanii and B. bavariensis). Precisely, it enables detection of p100, VisE, p58, p41, p39, OspA (without distinction of genospecies), OspC from all genospecies and p18 from all genospecies. The goal of the test is not to distinguish genospecies but to offer the largest coverage in terms of Lyme disease detection.
  • SeroCHLAM - Chlamydias IgG & IgA immunoblot (Chlamydia pneumoniae, Chlamydia trachomatis, Chlamydia psittaci)
  • SeroYERS - Yersinia IgG & IgA immunoblot. An immunoblot for the detection of IgG and IgA antibodies against all pathogenic Yersinia by means of Yersinia outer proteins (YOPs). Serological differentiation of Y. enterocolitica and Y. pseudotuberculosis infections is possible for the first time with the use of new species-specific Yersinia antigens (PsaA, MyfA).
  • SeroTRPN - Treponema IgG & IgM immunoblot
  • SeroHPylor - Helicobacter pylori IgG & IgA immunoblot
  • FISH (Fluorescence –in-situ hybridization) is available for assessing Babesia infection. It is the most sensitive assay for Babesia. This test is done on whole blood (EDTA tube, not frozen).
  • Mycobacterium QuantiFeron GOLD test (MycoB) detects responses in vitro to mycobacterium infection by measuring IFN-gamma response to either ESAT-6 or CFP-10 antigens. This test requires special set of tubes.
  • The presence of Borrelia spirochetes can be also uncovered by microscopic examination of a finger blood – test SlideBorrel (needs 300μl of fingertip blood).
Data sheet
Do I need to prepay the test before receiving the kit?

No, we will send you an invoice once we receive your sample. All payment instructions are listed on the invoice. You can pay by wire transfer or credit card (VISA or Mastercard only). Please kindly note that checks are no longer accepted. The analysis report will be released only if the tests are paid.

What is the turnaround time for the tests?

It will take approx. 4 weeks to get the results from all tests, except for MSA (6 weeks) and CD56 and CD57 (48 -72 hours).
