Heavy metals in urine (METU) 28-element urine profile
Heavy metals can also directly inhibit antioxidant enzymes like superoxide dismutase or glutathione reductase. This test is usually taken for chronic patient, ASD patients, chronic Lyme patients.
10-15 ml urine in tightly capped urine container, ambient temperature. Indicate if the sample is after chelation therapy.
Baseline urine or urine after chelation can be tested for 28 elements : Al, Sb, As, Ba, Be, Bi, Pb, Ce, Ga, Cd, Ni, Pd, Pt, Hg, Pr, Re, Rh, Ru, Ag, Te, Tl, Sn, W, U, Zr, Cu, Se, Zn.

It will take approx. 4 weeks to get the results from all tests, except for MSA (6 weeks) and CD56 and CD57 (48 -72 hours).
